Special feature: Since aluminium is a very good heat conductor, a higher current is required for every additional millimetre of material thickness. This is why the HandyTIG 180 AC/DC is available for aluminium up to 5 mm thick and the HandyTIG 200 AC/DC for aluminium up to 8 mm thick. Both welding units are suitable for the 230 V.

Lorch welding units of the HandyTIG AC/DC series can be used for MMA welding as well. The arc-force control comes ensures arc stability and perfect material transition. The electrode will not stick or anneal due to the anti-stick system.
