The TF-Pro series: The compact and robust all-rounder.

THE TF-PRO SERIES.Maximum TIG productivity through integrated cold wire feeder.

Up to three times faster with perfect weld seam appearance with the TIG all-rounder.

The Lorch TF-Pro welding unit, unites TIG inverter technology and cold wire feed functionality perfectly. The integrated, fully automatic cold wire feeder speeds up welding of TIG weld seams by up to three times. This unique feature ensures perfect weld appearance in record time.

The wire feed can be adjusted digitally via the Powermaster torch and is easy to control. The TF-Pro is the first choice for the highest deposition rates in TIG welding

It’s robust yet compact housing makes the system the perfect choice for your workshop. It can be moved to the next location quickly and flexibly. The gas cylinder with a capacity of 50 l remains securely attached to the power source at all times.

Overview of the advantages of the TF-Pro series.

The welding results are controlled decisively and perfectly with software. The TF Pro series with digital control technology stands out with it’s high efficiency and optimised welding properties.

SmartBase technology adjusts the arc perfectly matched to the chosen electrode at all times. Welding parameters, ignition, and working range of the tungsten are optimised automatically

TF-PRO-SERIES

Unique: Integrated cold wire feeder.

The fully integrated wire feeder with a separate, removable control panel and highly accurate cold wire control reliably feeds the filler material into the weld pool to achieve the greatest TIG productivity
A 4-roll quality feed motor ensures reliable, precise wire feeding. Digital speed monitoring ensures a perfect weld seam. As the welding current is increased, the automatic setting will automatically adjust the feed rate to match.

The downward sloping wire to roller position exit ensures easy wire change over as well as reliable wire feeding, even with aluminium wires.

Perfect aluminium welding thanks to AC version.

Aluminium TIG welding requires alternating current (AC). Since aluminium is a very good heat conductor, a higher current is required for every additional millimetre of material thickness. The TF-Pro series also welds aluminium with material thicknesses in excess of 8 mm easily.

Beyond this, the AC mode optimises the current waveform for greatest stability, outstanding cleaning effect of the aluminium oxide skin and reduced noise. The integrated automatic cap shaping function ensures perfect tungsten ball shape as well.

Improved welding quality thanks to MACS.

The additional special Lorch MACS (ModulatedACSystem) process improves welding quality by way of targeted heat input. MACS provides outstanding results, in particular when joining different material thicknesses.

Pulsing and fast pulsing at up to 2 kHz.

The integrated pulse and fast pulse function at up to 2 kHz is particularly suitable for processing thin welding sheets. It enables outstanding weld pool control for perfect results even during difficult welding tasks.

Interval spot function.

The interval spot function reduces heat input. This is of special benefit for welding tasks where distortion and dark temper colours must be avoided, e.g. when processing thin sheets.

Energy efficiency at full power.

The integrated stand-by function ensures turns individual components on and off automatically. The Thermocontrol sensors monitor system temperature and adjust the fan as required to reduce fan noise, dust load inside the machine, and power consumption.

Robust housing.

The TF-Pro housing is extremely robust and mobile thanks to its sturdy handles. This makes it ideal for use in a workshop. The top of the housing also makes for a perfect storage surface.

Overview of the intuitive and precise operation concepts of the TF-Pro series.

The digital amp display and the clearly structured user interface with clear welding sequence control turn current adjustment into an intuitive and precise process.

True to the principle of “3 steps to weld”, all you need to do is set the welding method or trigger function and the desired welding current. On top of this, the TF-Pro provides a separate, removable control panel for optimised control of the integrated cold wire feeder.

ControlPro including cold wire control in the manual control panel

  • “3 steps and weld” operating concept
  • Simple one-button operation
  • Stepless current adjustment
  • Amperometric digital display
  • User-focused operator guidance with illuminated symbols and welding sequence control
  • Tiptronic job memory for 100 welding tasks
  • Separate manual control panel for controlling the cold wire feeder

Practical memory functions that make welding easier.

The job tool stores up to 100 welding tasks.

The Tiptronic job memory function can directly store the optimised parameter settings for each welding task and recall them on demand right at the power source. This provides clear added value when welding workpieces with different weld seams, while making repetitive welding tasks easy and saving time.

Memory function.

Save the time needed to set the welding parameters again even if you have to briefly interrupt your welding work. The TF-PRO series’ memory function automatically stores all relevant parameter settings to let you resume your work at any time without any problems.

Always well-advised with close, personal, and honest support.
